Decades of poor hydro policies leave Ontarians paying way too much for electricity
The Liberals are now in the process of dismantling the Hydro One behemoth, while also investing billions of dollars to improve the energy infrastructure. They closed the coal-fired plants, resulting in no more brown outs or smog days in Hamilton and southern Ontario. The result is continuing high costs to feed-in-tariffs and even higher costs for improving Ontario’s nuclear plants.
