My initiatives reduced electricity consumption by some 23 per cent from 1997 to present day. However, I find that I have reached a limit to consumption reduction. There is no more incentive as electricity prices continue to increase to more than offset any savings.
This all goes to show us that our politicians and OEB are not deeply concerned about what residential consumers pay for hydro. It appears that the OEB has lost its way to have meaningful impact on electricity pricing.
