to be fair, building wind turbines' bringing money to rural areas, I do see the gradual infrastructure improvements around my parents farm around Haldimand county. I'd have to pour though some IESO reports over about a decade to see the whole market effect, you can't really judge the entire NA power market based on a single month or even a year worth of deals. Is it shitty when we're in a deficit and have to essentially pay other people to buy our excessive power? sure it sucks, but overall it balances out. At least we're stepping in the right direction.
